Alistair Lam
Founder & President
Alistair is a first-year at Yale University. He became interested in neuroscience after prepping for the Brain Bee competition with the Lawrenceville School's Medical League and attending IYNA's Introduction to Neuroscience summer course. He is most intrigued by neuroplasticity, especially synaptic plasticity and its role in learning and memory, as well as neurodegenerative disorders. He enjoys all science electives at school and appreciates how the humanities and the arts complement STEM discoveries. In his free time, he writes, sings, and listens to music. He is contemplating a career in medical research and hopes to find cures to neurologic disorders. As the Founder and President of the Hong Kong Chapter, he hopes to work with like-minded peers and promote neuroscience to students in Hong Kong.

Sennett Lau
Vice President
Sennett is a calm, cheerful and caring person who aspires to work in the field of medicine to further her interest in biology and natural science. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her family, pets and friends. She also likes to play sports such as tennis and read multi-genre books.
Public Relations
The Public Relations Department makes neuroscience more accessible to the general public by recruiting more members from various schools, finding sponsors for events, and managing the social media account, aiming to raise awareness and spread the work of the IYNA Hong Kong Chapter among the general public.
