IYNA HK x HKU Stroke

Dr. Gary Lau is a Clinical Associate Professor in Neurology, as well as the Assistant Dean of Education Innovations at the University of Hong Kong, Faculty of Medicine. He is also the Director of HKU Stroke.

In Part 1 of the interview, Dr. Lau shared with us how he became interested in Neurology, the role of a neurologist, how to balance work and life, and advise for our members on pursuing a career in medicine.

In Part 2 of the interview, Dr. Lau and Dr. Kay Cheong Teo talked about important work in stroke research, prevention, treatment, and patient care.

 

Dr. Kay Cheong Teo is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Hong Kong and Deputy Director of HKU Stroke, with clinical expertise in stroke and neurocritical care.
